Day of the Dead Part II Arrives for GOP

You ain’t seen nuttin’ yet. Wait till the Dems take over the House of Representatives next year, after the GOP gets devastated in today’s midterm elections: Funds cut from Defense to end the war and hand Iran a victory, defunding and defanging ICE, Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump impeached as the first order of business, and the filibuster ended and the Supreme Court packed if the Senate flips.

That’s just for starters.

Of course, Trump can veto any measures passed by the Leftistas. They won’t come near the two-thirds majority needed to override a veto, but government stasis might be the operating term for The Swamp until 2028, when AOC is elected president. Oops, getting ahead of myself.

I’m a three-time Trump voter. I still don’t find many disagreements with his policies outside of tariffs and Iran Part II (Part I being Midnight Hammer). Those are big disagreements, for sure, but not enough for me to stay home and not vote, or to vote for Demofiends just to send a message.

However, I’m not sure this holds true for independents and others who voted for Sir Donald in 2024. They may well be completely tired of his antics and of high gas and food prices (war and tariffs once again).

The MAGAistas got one good but fragile piece of news on Sunday when Michigan Dem Representative Haley Stevens endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for Senate over Demofiend Abdul El-Sayed.

Of course, in good ol’ Soviet fashion, Stevens was immediately disowned by the Dem Machine. If this were the Evil Empire (we’re getting closer), she no doubt also would’ve disappeared from politics if not the face of the Earth.

At any rate, her endorsement created big headlines on all the media outlets, but it’s probably a case of too little, too late, as 28 million Americans (and maybe many non-citizens) had already voted before the news broke.
