President Trump met with FOX’s Sean Hannity for an interview following his three-hour summit with Vladimir Putin and a brief press conference.
Trump rated the summit a “10” (has he ever had a phone call or meeting that wasn’t deemed “excellent?), but refused to reveal any agreements reached during his time with the Russian delegation led by Putin.

He also clearly stated that the ball is now in Ukraine’s court and said the next conference is up to European leaders and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to arrange. He made no mention of tariffs and sanctions on Russia to help force a ceasefire.
Following the Alaska summit, Putin and his cronies are brazenly warning Europe and Ukraine not to change the conditions he’s set for peace to be achieved. Basically, his conditions are a massive land grab in Ukraine, along with the country’s disarmament.
I turned on France 24, the English version of the French news program, to see how Europeans are reacting to the summit. There were no statements by European leaders, who are probably silently mourning the results of the summit. An analyst for the channel, however, deemed the summit “a disaster” and declared Putin the winner of the head-to-head with Trump.
I fear that Trump, by his comments that Europe and Zelenskyy must now take the ball and run with it, is planning to wash his hands of the Ukraine war, and let others figure it all out.
Remember — as Trump continues to state — this is not his war.
