Trump Wins Over EU: Gets 100-Year Greenland Pact

It’s been a big news day for Donald John Trump. First, he revoked the First Amendment (at least in the White House) for his media foes. Now, he has one-upped Emmanuel Macron and other EU biggies by getting his biggest prize yet — Greenland.

Recall how Trump wanted to annex the island and make it a fortress against America’s enemies, such as Russia and China. EU hanchos freaked out and began sending troops in to defend the territory that apparently is controlled by Denmark, in a sort of loose fashion.

Today, President Trump announced a deal with Greenland and Denmark concerning the island and the U.S. presence there.

“At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure ‌and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The deal, which he says is never-ending but is being reported as 100 years, will prohibit U.S. adversaries from establishing footholds on the island, or even investing there without U.S. approval.

“Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval.”

The U.S. will now beef up its military presence on the island.

Bottom line, Greenland will not be a U.S. territory — or state — but it will serve as a much-needed bulwark against foreign enemies using the island, or navigating near the island, to bring hurt to the U.S. militarily.
