The memoirs of Dr. (really?) Anthony Fauci are now taking their place alongside Mao’s Red Book as a dictator’s blueprint. Can you imagine having the power to order every business outside of government to shut down, to force people to lock themselves inside their homes 24/7, and to require the wearing of face masks even when at home with family members? Oh, and to get people arrested for taking their dog to the park for a walk?
Wait, I forgot. How about wives turning in their husbands for breaking Fauci Dictates? Or the scientific community (I say with a chuckle) agreeing to suppress any thought that the Wuhan Institute of Virology might have had anything to do with the COVID-19 pandemic? “Off with their heads!” for those who dared challenge that the pandemic began with a chimpanzee that ate some forbidden fruit.
Welcome to the United States of Soviet Socialist Republics circa 2020-2022. Liberals and our Pravda media still worship at the feet of what Fauci achieved. He still worships himself as well, but man, how he misses being on TV daily.
Thanks to Senator Rand Paul (R.-KY), we now have the 1,000-plus pages of notes, aka historic memoir, that the dictator kept during the height of his power when he managed to get even Donald John Trump to grovel at his every word. Imagine that?
Here are some Fauci words of wisdom I gained from the Wall Street Journal and other publications:
“The public adulation of me has been amazing with every young intern as well as seasoned veteran in the WH coming over to me congratulating me and thanking me for my work and even asking for selfies,” His Majesty wrote in March 2020.
Oh, yeah, and the monkey-origins theory: “I had always said that the very highly likelihood is that the virus originated naturally from an animal reservoir jumping to a human. The far right is really amazing in their distortion of reality.”
How about having the media wrapped around his little finger? “Amazing profile of me today on Nightline,” he wrote. “Multiple editorials (print news Washington Post, etc.) and opinion pieces (Newsweek) written about me. Cannot keep up or even read all of them. Country needs someone to look up in the face of Trump presidency.”
Even a noted communist like Barbra Streisand couldn’t help but express to Fauci her breathless appreciation for his “constant guidance, patience and reassurance.”
How about his last entry from December 2022? “It is clear (I have not been reporting it every day) that the far, extreme right and Qanon [QAnon] literally hate me.”
And the Far Left idolizes you, and that was the whole point, wasn’t it, V.I. Fauci?
