Reuters, among other media outlets, is bringing back bad memories for us, an event that was completeliy downplayed if not outrightly ignored by the socialist media of our country — that of Joe Biden’s effort to support Hamas rebels in Gaza by building a floating pier to bring in so-called humanitarian supplies by sea.
The bridge, which cost some $230 million, eventually separated from is moorings and was irreparable. Meanwhile, 62 Americans were injured trying to foster victory by Hamas, all in the name of bringing humanitarian aid, of course.
Which brings up another story ignored by the fake news — that of the stashes of ammunition found among humanitarian aid packages delivered to Gaza by the United Nations. This prompted Israel to announce it was taking over control of Gaza, peace treaties be damned.
Anyway, if you’ve been around as long as I have, you no doubt remember how Biden Sr., in the person of Jimmy Carter, tried to rescue hostages held in Iran after the revolution. In the process, U.S. helicopters collided in the desert, ending any chance of success (wreckage pictured above as Iranians poke through it).
The helicopter fiasco was one of the reasons Ronald Reagan swept into office despite media hostility and predictions of doom for the one-time actor and California Governor.
As the French say, “Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose” — the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Which is why the Demofiends are hellbent on bringing down Trump — they fear change, especially change aimed at restoring democracy.
