Stolen State Wants to Criminalize Journalism to Protect Its Fraudster Donors

The Stolen State — aka the Golden State until Demofiends found a way to cement eternal power by giving the vote to illegals and paying for their health care — is now fearful that the Nick Shirleys of the world will expose the government’s corruption.

The proposed legislation, AB 2624 — which Assemblywoman Mia Bonta, the sponsor, says “does not infringe on the First Amendment” — makes it a crime to report on government fraud in the state. The penalty, from what I understand, is a $50,000 fine and/or six months in prison.

“California is trying to pass a bill that would criminalize investigative journalism with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown,” YouTuber Nick Shirley wrote on the social media platform, X. “The proposed bill is titled AB 2624 and was made after I exposed mass fraud by immigrant groups in America.”

The Stolen State looks the other way as fraudsters steal government funds through phony organizations, such as child care centers with no children, so long as the fraudsters donate generously to Demofiend candidates and causes.
