Bartender Sandy, aka AOC or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, recently joined fellow traveler Bernie Sanders at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California to rail against President Trump, Elon Musk, and anyone who supports them, whom they believe to include billionaire puppet masters.
The AOC-Bernie theme was “Fight Oligarchy,” referring to an American form of the oligarch class in Russia whom these Marx lovers now claim run the Trump administration. As Sanders posits things, we now have a “government of the billionaire class, by the billionaire class, for the billionaire class.”
Somehow he forgot that there are infinitely more billionaires involved in Demofiend politics than in Republican politics, to say nothing of the nationwide spectre of George Soros.
The cheering mob at Coachella was likely already high on various subsances before the duo took the stage with their diatribes. The two then ferried off to Salt Lake City to continue their tour and lambaste everything Trumpian.
The politicking tour of the new Demo Dyinamic Duo, who have also been labeled “the Gruesome Twosome,” reminds me of a quote I read recently from the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche:
“The cleverness of idealists consists in their persistently posing as the missionaries and ‘representatives’ of an ideal: they thus ‘beautify’ themselves in the eyes of those who still believe in disinterestedness and heroism. Whereas real heroism consists, not in fighting under the banner of self-sacrifice, submission, and disinterestednesd, but in not fighting at all…. “I am thus; I will be thus — and you can go to the devil.”
A more appropriate comment might be from one Karl Marx: “Always accuse your enermy of what you are trying to do.”
