The Right Hand Does Know What the Left Hand Is Doing in the Trump Admin When It Comes to Ukraine

Indeed, there is coordination up and down the Trump Administration, much as the Commander-in-Chief and President often pretends that he had no prior knowledge about something that just took place.

The raid of John Bolton’s office may have been the most recent example, but an ongoing example is the Defense Department’s hamstringing of Ukraine when it comes to taking the fight into Russia.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Trump Pentagon, like the Biden Pentagon before it, is “quietly” blocking Ukraine from using long-range missiles to strike into Russia.

The Pentagon is using what is called a “review mechanism” when it comes to long-range Army Tactical Missile Systems, or Atacms.

The review gives Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth final say over whether Ukraine can employ Atacms to strike inside Russian territory.

“No way” has been the routine answer as the “stage MAGA right” Trump tries to placate Vladimir Putin into a peace deal, which is nowhere in sight unless under Russian terms 100 percent.

This is interesting because Trump just last week blamed the Biden administration for not letting Zelenskyy use missiles to penetrate into Russian territory.

He wrote on Truth Social: Joe Biden would not let Ukraine FIGHT BACK, only DEFEND.”

As the French say, “Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.
