Working at Home Worked Fine for These Fannie Mae Employees — Except Home Was in China!

Bill Pulte, director of the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency, has announced the termination of 100 employees at Fannie Mae for “unethical conduct.” Fannie Mae is a government agency that underwrites home loans for millions of Americans.

Now, you may remember that federal government workers were sent home to work once COVID became a pandemic. Problem #1: They never returned to the office even after the pandemic was officially declared over and done with. Problem #2: Some of these employees working at “home” literally and physically called China their home.

On Fox News, Pulte told Laura Ingraham, host of The Ingraham Angle, that these employees evidently tried to hide or mask their IP addresses so they wouldn’t show the China connection. When President Trump ordered federal employees back into the office, these China-based employees simply had friends and relatives log in for them at Fannie Mae headquarters.

Not all 100 terminated employees were fired for their China connection. Others were found in be engaged in getting kickbacks, Pulte said.

Fraud, waste, abuse and corruption writ large! Pulte vowed to continue to ferret out such violations.
