None dare call it racism, but I will, to wit, Donald Trump’s Truth Social video showing Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys, or apes, if you will [pictured above].
Though later deleted, the video was truly racist and has me questioning whether Trump has the moral perspective to be president. This from someone who voted for him three times and who still supports his policies so long as they are carried out in measured steps.
Of course, Trump has himself been the brunt of every sort of verbal and graphic insult imaginable, including showing him as a monkey. I don’t see how this excuses his video insult, however, especially since he is president of the United States and leader of the free world.
Facing criticism, Trump took down the Truth Social post, whose creation he immediately blamed on a staffer. More fodder for “Office Space II.”
