Here they go again, but with some justification.
Trump and his team are now taking the bully pulpit and the president’s campaign against what he rightfully calls “fake news” into cyberspace with a new WhiteHouse.gov section (inaugural page pictured).
You might ask of White House staffers, “Haven’t they got better things to do?” And the answer might be, given government bloat, “Probably not.”
The section is broken down into four interrelated parts: Claim, Publication, Reporter, and Category. Here’s an example:
The first listed claim is titled “Media Misrepresents and Exaggerates President Trump’s Calls for Democrat Accountability.” The publication features a threesome: CBS, The Boston Globe, and The Independent. Four reporters are singled out. The category is twofold: misrepresentation and omission of context.
If you click one of the links (which are on everything except the claim, for some reason), you get a further breakdown and analysis aimed at setting the record straight.
If you want to see for yourself, just go to WhiteHouse.gov/mediabias.
Hint: It’s probably not worth your time if you already have an accurate perspective on liberal bias and Trump hatred in the media.
