The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) saw two high-level resignations today following accusations by the Trump Administration — and Trump himself — over what was deemed biased coverage of the president’s remarks of January 6, 2021.
Remember, the Demofiends have claimed since that day that the MAGA supporters who had gathered to protest the authenticity of the 2020 balloting created an “insurrection” by storming the Capitol.
In the case of the BBC, a series called “Panorama ” airing one week before the November 2024 U.S. presidential election, edited Trump’s remarks from that day of “insurrection.”

The show, titled “Trump, a Second Chance?”, showed Trump reportedly urging his gathered supporters to “fight like hell” inside the U.S. Capitol.
The controversy has led to the resignations of BBC Director General Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness.
The resignations come just days after The Daily Telegraph exposed an internal BBC memo suggesting “Panorama” had juxtaposed Trump’s comments to show him urging violence.
On Truth Social, President Trump hailed the resignations.
“The TOP people in the BBC, including TIM DAVIE, the BOSS, are all quitting/FIRED, because they were caught ‘doctoring’ my very good (PERFECT!) speech of January 6th,” he wrote
“Thank you to The Telegraph for exposing these Corrupt ‘Journalists.’ These are very dishonest people who tried to step on the scales of a Presidential Election.”
Director General Davie said he was resigning voluntarily.
“Like all public organizations, the BBC is not perfect, and we must always be open, transparent and accountable,” Davie said in a statement. “While not being the only reason, the current debate around BBC News has understandably contributed to my decision.”
