The U.S. Supreme Court, set to go on break until the first Monday in October, issued some positive Trump-favorable decisions today. Perhaps the most important was a 6-3 decision stopping rogue federal judges from blocking Everything Trumpian A-Z.
The ruling read in part: “Universal injunctions likely exceed the equitable authority that Congress has given to federal courts.”

The decision was rendered in a case involving President Trump’s Executive Order on birthright citizenship. The court put that Executive Order on hold for 30 days while it is reviewed by lower courts, but the broader result was to stop nationwide injunctions from liberal federal judges with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), though it certainly wasn’t worded that way.
In a news conference at the White House, President Trump stated his position that the 14th Amendment — cited as granting immediate citizenship to anyone born in the U.S. even if that person’s parents are here illegally –actually was intended to make slaves’ children citizens.
Attorney General Pam Bondi, speaking at the same press conference, noted that some 35 nationwide injunctions have been issued by just five judges located in Maryland, Massachusetts, California, and the District of Columbia. Those injunctions can now be rolled back without years’ of litigation.
In another MAGA-favorable decision, SCOTUS ruled that school systems must allow opt-outs for parents to remove their children from classes when course material conflicts with their religious beliefs. The underlying lawsuit permits parents to remove their children from courses that include LGBTQ characters in books and also from science classes that teach Darwin’s theory of evolution
