This begs the question: What concessions by Putin are Trump and Marco Rubio referring to on an almost daily basis?

It’s officially been two weeks since the Alaska Summit between Trump and Putin, after which Trump promised “severe consequences” in two weeks if Putin didn’t come to the table.

Trump’s meeting with Zelenskyy and EU leaders took place two weeks from Monday, after which he again promised “severe consequences” in two weeks.

Unless Trump and EU leaders are willing to make the war too costly for Russia, either economically or on the battlefield — or both — there seems to be little chance for peace unless Putin’s terms are accepted lock, stock and barrel.
