Trump Uses the ‘T’ Word Not While Uttering His Name, But While Accusing Obama of ‘Treason’
When asked by a reporter today about the Epstein files, Trump deflected and instead spoke about the files relating to the CIA and former President Barack Obama trying to tie Trump into a Russian conspiracy to get himself elected.
These files — with more promised — were released on Friday by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard was actually the first to use the “T” word, when she announced the release of the documents:

“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” she said. “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people,”
Trump repeated the “T” accusation today while taking questions during an Oval Office meeting with Philippines President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“It’s there, he’s [Obama is] guilty. This was treason,” Trump said, according to a Reuters report. “They tried to steal the election, they tried to obfuscate the election. They did things that nobody’s ever imagined, even in other countries.”
The Obama team rapidly released a Double-D response: a denial and dismissal of all charges by Trump and Gabbard.
