Now Here’s One Ghost That Really Won’t Go Away: The Spectre of Jeffrey Epstein Stalks the Administration

Neville Chamberlain and his ghost can have a good time behind the scenes whispering “peace for our time” despite the consequences into Donald Trump’s ear. but clearly the busiest and most powerful ghost stalking the Trump Administration is that of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The sad part is that President Trump himself, ably aided by Attorney General Pam Bondi, has summored the Epstein spirit to haunt his government and keep people of all political stripes wondering what Trump has to hide.

The press has been after Trump regarding the Epstein files for days now, and his main answer has been that the files are the concoctions of prior Demofiend administrations, adding that Attorney General Pam Bondi is free to disclose any documents that are “credible.”

Now, I for one am not convinced Trump is named anywhere in any existing “credible” documents as participating in Epstein’s sexcapades with young women, even those who were underage. A photo purporting to show a younger Trump with a 15-year-old at an Epstein romp has been widely proven to be fake.

So, all this begs the question: Why not just dump everything existing, credible or not, and let the public and the media have at it? AG Bondi actually promised this would happen months ago, but a weird memo a week ago put the kibosh on the scenario.

Now, here’s where Trump’s self-stated position gets really bizarre: On Truth Social, he wrote:

“My PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker. I don’t want their support anymore.”

Let’s put that into context. A  Quinnipiac poll released today shows 63 percent of the American public, and 40 percent of Republicans, disapproves of the way the administration is handling the Epstein files situation.

That’s a lot of supporters to lose, Mr. President.
