Wake is probably a good word for last night’s election results if you’re a Republican of any ilk, though RINOs and Trump Haters may actually have cheered the results as a comeuppance for The Donald.
My take is that two things led to the Demofiend sweep last night. One was that Trump wasn’t on any ticket to motivate voters on the right and center-right to come to the polls in sufficient numbers. The other was this thing known as “affordability.”
I feel that myself. Grocery prices are not coming down, but in fact seem still to be rising when I go shopping. I’m in California, so I can’t gauge what’s happening to gas prices, but I see rents and housing prices skyrocketing across the land (though they may now be taking a rest).

In wake of this wake, Trump this morning addressed assembled GOP Senators and renewed his call for an end to the filibuster. This time around, I agreed with him.
As he pointed out, as soon as the Demofiends gain 51 seats in the Senate, the first order of business will be to end the filibuster.
Then, they can pack the Supreme Court with socialists and communists and grant statehood to the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, gaining four more sure Demofiend Senators forever and ever.
The most telling — and selling — point Trump made about the filibuster is that he and Republicans in Congress will not be able to pass any legislation for the next three-plus years because of the filibuster. That, of course, will spell the end of GOP chances in the 2026 and 2028 elections.
Welcome back, open borders, high taxes, lavish spending to buy votes, and as a result, inflation that will sink the U.S. into the “Democracy never lasts” history books.
While Trump was pleading his case for saving the conservative cause, on the Demofiend side, AOC was calling for a burial for Chuck Schumer’s leadership. She said it was time for “the next generation” to take over.
By this, of course, she means the far-leftist element euphemistically calling themselves Democratic Socialists, when in fact what they are is communists. (More on that in a subsequent post.)
Anyway, it is a wake for MAGA and Republicans in general if they don’t wake up (accidental pun). Trump can’t run in 2028 unless he wants to join the House or Senate (highly unlikely), so who is going to motivate and rally the voters? JD Vance? Mario Rubio? Ron DeSantis?
Good luck with that group against Demofiends shouting “affordability” and “free” this and “free” that. If the AOC crowd takes over, the only thing free will be your slavery and impoverishment.
