Ghost of Jeffrey Epstein Visits the U.S. Capitol and Forces the House into an Early Recess Over His Files

The House was all set to leave on a five-week summer break on Thursday to shake down donors for more dough, er, sorry, to meet with constituents, when Jeffrey Epstein made a motion to adjourn early to protect the sanctity of his precious files.

Of course, Epstein had to make the motion in absentia through his ever-present ghost, but House Speaker Mike Johnson was more than willing to accommodate the former pedophile and send everyone home early for their annual summer recess.

With everyone scurrying off, there could be no vote on a Demofiend motion to force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all Epstein files.

It appears that way too many Republicans might have been in the same camp as the Dems in urging full disclosurem, so Johnson basically just shut everything down.

President Trump had urged the House and Senate to stay in session through the normal break period to deal with issues other than Epstein, but apparitions do have the power to sway the course of human events, it would appear.
