Federal Judge Affirms That All Demofiends Are Above the Law, Dismissing Comey and James Cases

CJ8

A Demofiend federal judge in Virginia did exactly what I predicted by dismissing charges today against fellow Demofiends James Comey, former FBI Director, and Letitia James, current New York Attorney General..

Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, a Clinton appointee, threw out the charges because, she ruled, they were filed by an illegally appointed prosecutor. The prosecutor in this case is former Trump personal attorney, Lindsey Halligan

“I conclude that all actions flowing from Ms. Halligan’s defective appointment, including securing and signing Ms. James’s indictment, constitute unlawful exercises of executive power and must be set aside,” Currie ruled. A seprate ruling absolved Comey of charges.

Halligan was personally appointed by President Trump, bypassing a Senate confirmation vote, meaning Currie’s decision probably has merit.

Nonetheless, had this appointment window not been open, I’m sure either the judge or a jury would eventually have absolved James and Comey of their charges.

James was facing mortgage fraud charges, and Comey charges of making a false statement to Congress and obstructing a Congressional proceeding.

The decision can be appealed to the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
