Elon Musk on Track for a Trillion-Dollar Pay Package with His Vision of a World Peopled and Run by Robots

I have said it before and I’ll say it again: Elon Musk is the Henry Ford-plus of our era and a true genius with his vision of the world to come. (He also ain’t bad at cutting budgets either. Bring him back, Donald J. Trump.)

Musk is in the news today because his Tesla board has approved a 10-year pay package for the company’s leader worth up to $1 trillion. Musk is already the world’s richest man.

I’ll admit that I think the Chinese already make better cars than the U.S., and their EVs rival and potentially outshine the Tesla. That being said, Musk’s true vision for the economic future of the world lies in AI and robots.

Artificial intelligence and machines that take over for people — and outperform them — are the drivers of Musk’s future as the world’s innovator par excellence.

The pay package itself envisions the production of one million robots and one million robotaxis, and 10 million subscribers to self-driving vehicles. Oh, yes, along with the production and sale of 20 million Teslas.

The package was “designed to align extraordinary long-term shareholder value with incentives that will drive peak performance from our visionary leader,” wrote Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm in a letter to investors.

Las Vegas already has a bar with robotic bartenders, and AI is beginning to do jobs that replace people who spent years developing their skills.

For instance, AI can already write better than I can. Just read my previous post on AI taking over the world to see what I mean.

AI just rewrote my article, and it’s much improved:

Elon Musk isn’t just building cars; he’s architecting the future. While the debate on electric vehicle supremacy continues, Musk’s true visionary genius is rapidly shifting towards an AI and robotics-driven economy.

His recent monumental $1 trillion pay package is a testament to this ambition. The targets are staggering: 1 million Optimus robots, 1 million robotaxis, and 20 million Teslas sold. This isn’t just about shareholder value; it’s a blueprint for a new industrial revolution where AI and automation are the primary drivers.

From robotic bartenders to AI writers, this future is already unfolding. Musk’s vision positions him not merely as an industrialist, but as the Henry Ford-plus of the 21st century, fundamentally reshaping how we live and work.
