Hell, No, He Won’t Sign! The Housing Bill, That Is

SAVE

President Trump has again refused to sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which passed both Houses of Congress with huge margins. When it was sent to him a couple of weeks back, he said he wouldn’t sign it unless Congress passed the SAVE America voting rights act.

Trump then attended a lunch with Senate Republicans, where he got in a shouting match with outgoing Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana over the war with Iran. He again pushed for the SAVE Act, but again to no avail.

Now that time is running out to sign the housing legislation, Trump has said, “Hell, no, I won’t sign!” in so many words. But he hasn’t indicated if he will let it become law without his signature, or whether he will veto it and force Congress to vote on it again.

The SAVE bill will require voter ID at the ballot box and will eliminate almost all vote-by-mail options. The president has demanded that Republicans in the Senate get rid of the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act over Demofiend objections. Majority Leader John Thune has said he lacks the votes — and the desire — to end the filibuster.

The GOP contingent in the Senate is skating on thin ice, and the Fiends could win back control this year or in 2028. At which point, they would end the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, and admit Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia as states that would vote solidly Demofiend until death do the world part.

I am actually a strong supporter of the SAVE Act. Here in California, it takes weeks to certify elections, because the Demofiends — in tight races — have to figure out a way to “discover” ballots that got misplaced or were somehow uncounted. Read: New ballots created after the election.

I recall in the 2020 presidential election that, in one state, Trump was leading solidly. Then suddenly, several hundred thousand “lost” ballots were found, and guess what? They were marked 100 percent for Joe Biden!

Trump threats and tantrums aside, Republicans should listen to him, end the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court themselves, and then pass some kind of legislation that would make it next to impossible to admit D.C. or PR into the Union.

If not, the Demofiends look to wrest eternal control of the federal government, and subject us all to the tyranny of communism without ever calling it that. Maybe it’ll be dubbed, as it is now, “Democratic Socialism,” which is an oxymoron to start with.
