Fraud Is the Watchword of California Politics Under Governor Gruesome, State Auditor’s Report Reveals

Newsom

Some $76 billion from California State coffers has vanished into empty air — more likely, into fraudsters’ hands — under the leadership of one Gavin Newsom, whom I as a California resident politely refer to as Governor Gruesome.

Unfortunately, the media, even on the right, seems oblivious to the bombshell report detailing this abuse compiled by the California State Auditor. In other words, this wasn’t a political hit job; it came from within the Guv’s own government.

A tally of all the agencies and programs cited by the report, along with the totals from audits of these Stolen State programs, reveals:

  • $32B in unemployment fraud
  • $24B on homelessness programs
  • $18B on high-speed rail with no operable track after 16-plus years

I also noticed a reference to $20 billion in federal COVID-19 relief funding fraud, but I’m not sure where or if that’s figured in. The report also warns of an upcoming $20 billion budget shortfall, but Newsom deals with these almost every year and somehow manages to hide them under an accounting rug somewhere.
