Hillary Clinton famously swore that “there’s no there there” in the controversy over her retaining emails on a private server while functioning as Secretary of State under Barack Obama. Of course, she found it convenient to destroy the hard drive that she claimed contained no damning evidence. Uh, huh.
Bill, while serving as president and accused of having an affair with an aide, famously said, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky,” referring to White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Now, after the release of a photo of Bill on a Jeffrey Epstein plane with his arm around a young woman whose face has been redacted, the former president can join wife Hillary in the “no there there” argument, or even use the “no sexual relations” contention.
Before the release of today’s files, Clinton had said that he had “no knowledge of Epstein’s heinous crimes.”
At any rate, the release today of a pile of Epstein files as demanded by a Congressional vote seems to validate President Trump’s implication that Clinton might have been more involved than he was in the Epstein female empire, Trump has totally denied any involvement at all.
Now, whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) deliberately excluded any damning Trump photos or emails remains to be seen, though critics are claiming that the department failed to release everything.
(BTW, I took a look at the collected documents, and I must say it would take many hours or many people to sort through such a conglomeration. The DOJ has yet to release all documents.)
No doubt Demofiends will now allege a cover-up to protect the president, though they had four years in power to use the Epstein trove to smear their feared and hated rival.
