Gone is Chief Creative Officer Gerry McGovern. Among the reasons could be that JLR is suffering huge losses.

The ad featuring McGovern’s creation was widely criticized because it literally explained nothing about the car it supposedly was marketing. Instead, you had a bunch of androgynous-looking people bouncing around in vividly colored costumes.
Not sure if McGovern had anything to do with the creative behind the ad, but let’s hope not. However, his sudden departure does come without comment from JLR.
