President Trump held his ninth cabinet meeting today, which was televised live. Most of the reporters’ questions involved allegations that the U.S. took out two survivors from a narco-boat bombing in a second bombing.
This reported action, according to Demofiends and others, even some Republicans, amounted to a war crime, as survivors of a military action are generally afforded protection from further harm.
Questions also involved Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and the scams perpetrated largely by Somalis in that state to rip off food and other benefit programs through false claims.
Trump being Trump, when asked about this, immediately took a hard line, saying the Somalis should go home if they don’t want to work and contribute to American society.
“They [Somali immigrants] contribute nothing. The welfare is like 88 percent or something. They contribute nothing. I don’t want them in our country,” he said. “Their country is no good for a reason. Your country stinks and we don’t want them in our country.
“When they come from hell and they complain and do nothing but bitch, we don’t want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix it,”
His Somali comments closed out the Q&A media session to applause, presumably coming from his assembled cabinet. The applause seemed to affirm the president’s Somali diatribe.
