Ukrainians Erupt as Zelenskyy Tightens His Dictatorial Screws Over a War-Torn Population

Whoever said it — and I think it was Donald Trump — it’s true: Zelenskyy is a dictator in the mold of Vladimir Putin.

The Ukrainian populace, facing Russian military might for three years now, took to the streets when Zelenskyy and his so-called government this week gutted the nation’s anti-corruption law.

This is no surprise to me as I am convinced that Z himself — along with his cronies — has socked away billions of U.S. aid dollars in a numbered Swiss bank account. Let’s face it: If Russia succeeds in occupying Kyiv, Zelenskyy faces the gallows, so he’ll run to safety, secure in the knowledge that he has billions to survive on.

Earlier on as the war commenced, Zelenskyy banned religious and political groups with “ties” to Russia. Then he declared martial law and canceled all elections.

Result: lifelong sinecure for Z  so long as the war continues without a Ukrainian defeat.

The proximate cause of this week’s protests was a new law that places a Z-appointed prosecutor in charge of the government’s anti-corruption apparatus. Of course, this means there will be no corruption investigations.

Swiss bank accounts are thereby secure forever.
