His ‘Cheatin’ Heart’ Caught on Video and Full Audience Display, Andy Byron Resigns as Astronomer CEO

The U.S. hasn’t quite reached the status of South Korea, where a video camera spies on you from every street and every building, but that is of little solace for Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, who was caught on video at a Coldplay concert with “another” woman and immediately resigned.

Byron was at the Coldplay event in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with his chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, when a camera sweep caught the two in an embrace for full audience viewing on screen. Cabot covered her face, and Byron tried to hide, both to no avail.

The video made social media overnight, and there were 77 million instant viewers on TikTok alone.

Byron, of course, is married but not to Cabot.

After the video’s viral spiral, Byron resigned as CEO of Astronomer,

Located in New York, Astronomer makes software that helps companies implement workflow management technology.

[My tribute and thanks to Hank Williams and his song “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” whose lyrics helped infuse my headline]
